Arches National Park, UT
Two words: Indiana Jones.
Double Arch in Arches National Park was the location for the opening scene in one of the best-loved Indiana Jones films. In fact, it’s one of the few formations you can climb, explore, and release your inner adventure-er.
The sheer scale of Double Arch (it’s gigantic) draws in countless visitors. With the ability to get up close and personal, you can see how the elements change the formations before your eyes. Notice the dark vertical streaks in the rocks? This is due to the rain and precipitation runoff. Watch the wind move debris across their surfaces in a constant path.
It’s simply breathtaking.
