Overlooking the Bow River is a place called, “Surprise Corner”. From here you get a beautiful look at the rushing waters and the Banff Springs Hotel in the distance, which was built in the late 1800’s. It’s an easy drive along Tunnel Mountain Road to get to the overlook with convenient parking at the corner.
