Apostle Islands National Lakeshore, WI
This is another shot taken during my trip to the Apostle Islands Ice Caves during the 2013-2014 winter season.This was taken behind a waterfall of melting ice from above, the effect creating a palace-looking formation. You could actually hear the water coursing through the ice, and the ground behind me was covered with an inch or so with meltwater. It was one of the first places I stopped when shooting around the Ice Cave.
