The Story

This shot is a 3-shot vertical panorama taken during the 2013-2014 winter season at the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore. The ice on the sides of the cave is a result of the continuous lapping of Lake Superior’s waves and extremely cold temperatures. One of my favorite parts about this shot is the lighting and detail of the roof of the cave.
